I'm a husband and a Father. At the end of this summer, I'll earn my Marketing Degree from the University of Utah. I work full-time to support my family and try to get outside as often as I possibly can. I am a passionate photographer trying to share my story.
I was born in Bountiful, UT in 1990 and grew up in a small city called Woods Cross. I was obsessed with sports. I started playing soccer when I was five, and by the time I was a senior in high school, I was playing soccer, football, and lacrosse. I loved spending time in the outdoors with my family. From the time I was six weeks old until I graduated from high school, our family vacations consisted of an annual trip to a beloved campground in Wayan, ID, near the town where my mom grew up.
After high school I served a 2 year mission for the LDS church in Philadelphia, PA. Shortly after I returned home, I married Jamie Andersen, my high school sweetheart, and we moved to Logan, UT. We have since returned to Bountiful, and in June 2015, we welcomed Mason Joseph Smith to our home. At this point, I still think that babies are cool.
In the past year I've discovered that my passion is adventure, being in the outdoors, experiencing new things, meeting new people, and inspiring others to do the same. I'm excited to share my story through photographs and blogposts, and hopefully be able to connect with many of you along the way.
